Project Website...and Project Save the Date

Ok - soooooooo I did it. And I am so proud of myself. I started working on my website and a) I think by the time it's polished and done it will be super cute and b) it works. Like, click a link and it goes there! Wahoo! Success. You can check it out right now if you feel so inclined, but it's not even close to being done. Or that cute yet. (http://www.announcementsbyjen.com/) I started working on it Saturday night around 9 and couldn't peel myself away from the computer until 4:30 am. Yea, and we still made it to church! Miraculous.

Also I worked on some save the date ideas for Becky. They are going to be 5" x 4" ish magnets... (Still in the idea phase so I'm sure they will be different when "completed". And I will take any feedback you would like to give me.)

Um, also I ACTUALLY woke up EARLY this morning and did yoga before I showered etc. I think being really excited about these projects makes me more energetic and gives me reason to get out of bed and be happy! Just work in the horizon wasn't doing it for me.

Also kitty update: Both Tabitha and Sophie are "adult" cats now and since reaching their one year birthdays (and no we did not make kitty treat cakes or have a party or anything weird; however that sounds kind of like a fabulous reason to throw a party...Tabitha's bday is sometime in October) they are much sweeter and snugglier. In fact as I was in down-dog this morning Sophie came up and was rubbing her head all over my face. It was cute.

And that is pretty much all I have right now - pretty exciting stuff. LOVES!

The first = the best

No Gabe, I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about how I'm the first to post! Hooray! (Granted I did create the Blog so I kind of had a wee bit of a head start.) Anyways - I hope this is a place where we can come and share our rediculous lives with one another!

This weekend I'm off to Vegas to be the best MOH (maid of honor) ever!!! I will post pics when I get home.

I'm starting a website/past time business. http://www.announcementsbyjen.com/ - I haven't started work on my website but that's my goal for the next few weeks. With all the compliments I received from Em's announcements I thought to myself, "well heck, might as well try to make some money from this!" so if any of you know anyone who wants cute/cheap/unique announcements send em my way. :) I'll also be making 'save the dates' for Beck and maybe her announcement; I already have a portfolio! Yippy! I'm excitd and hope I can make a little extra money on the side doing something I think is SO fun!

Also I am trying to nail down dates for me and Micah's trip to NC to visit the respective g-parents. I called Gma Holland today and it made me realize how much I don't call her and I may go to hell for taking advantage that my grandmother is still alive and well. Resolution: call her more. She misses all of us so much!
